On Tuesdays, I post two projects that are linked somehow (stamp set, design, colours, etc.) but are different in some way as well.
***Don't forget that today is the last day to order from the Summer Mini! Quite a few of my favourite items have carried over into the current Idea Book & Catalogue, but others will be gone tonight at midnight. You can check out all the Summer Mini items by clicking here, and if you'd like to order, just log in and type in my name (Liz Goldhawk) - if you don't have a demonstrator yet - as the Demonstrator to get the best prices.
For today's Two for One Tuesday, I'm showing you two cards I created with one stamp set from the Summer Mini - Bouquet Bunches. It's got fun images that are quick and easy to colour in. Let me know which one you like better!
On this card, I stamped the different pieces to create a little scene, and coloured it in with a Sponge Dauber (sky and leaves) and a Blender Pen with inks. I'm so happy that the Itty Bitty Shapes punches are still available in the new catalogue... I love the little flower with the Basic Pearl as an accent. After I put the image panel onto the card, I realized I didn't want to add a sentiment, so I'll add a sentiment to the inside when I send it.
This card has a much different look from the first one. I've had these pieces coloured and punched out for a couple months now, but never found a card layout I was happy with. I was inspired today by a grouping of photos I saw online (all different frames, but grouped together on a wall to make one display) and thought I'd try it out on this card. Two of the images are stamped on Vellum Cardstock and coloured with markers on the back. The third image is stamped on Whisper White and coloured with Watercolour Pencils which I blended with a Blender Pen. I added a sentiment to the Scallop Rectangle Clearlit with Fabulous Phrases. The Square Lattice Die (yes, I'm glad it's staying too) added some texture and grounded the different shapes.

Hi Liz!
Both cards are great but I like the first one better. It's a personal choice really - the layout in the first one is simpler and the colours appeal to me.\
Thanks for sharing!
