Blog Candy!

***This post will stay at the top until September 2nd... please scroll down for new posts!***

I was recently contacted by Jason at CSN Office Furniture and offered the opportunity to select an item from the website to review (and keep) or give away to one of my blog readers. I decided that I'd like to pass the fun onto one of you, so I have some blog candy! I took a look at the website, and found several home office furniture and storage items that I would love to have to help with storage in my craft area, and I hope you will enjoy the product I selected:

This is the Medium Wood/Corrugated Literature Organizer by Safco Products. It retails for $67.99 US (free shipping on most orders to the US), and has 24 storage slots. These will fit 8.5x11 cardstock perfectly, but I can also picture my most used ink pads on some shelves, as well as a stamp set or two (probably my newest) that I'm working with for a few projects, but want to keep off my desk while I'm using them. It would also be perfect for a magazine or idea book... right at my fingertips for inspiration!
So, here are the details on how you can win this Organizer and put it to work in your home: Leave a comment on this post (one per person please) with your name, e-mail so I can contact you, and what you would put on those shelves by 10pm Tuesday, September 1st, 2009 (eastern). CSN Office Furniture ships to the United States and Canada, so anyone in the US or Canada can win! Please tell your friends to come and enter too! I'll announce the winner here on my blog on September 2nd, 2009 and CSN Office Furniture will ship the prize after I get the winner's address!

Oh, that's cool Liz!
Hmm... I'd use it for cardstock too... or maybe even lay it down and use it to sort stickers and things.

How cool is that! I would give it to my kiddles school. We just opened our teacher resource center today and our colored construction paper is just stacked up in a corner. We need a space to organize the construction paper and to have teacher "in" boxes. Thank you for sharing!

How lucky are you?!! Wow! You know, I've been working on my organization (or lack thereof...) and thinking a nice shelf for paper or stamps would be really nice. But I think what's the nicest is your willingness to share such a terrific product with others! Thank you for your generosity!

Lucky you Liz! And so wonderful of you to share.
I would use it for my bigshot dies. Too cool.
Thanks girl.

WOWZERS! Thanks for the link Marcia!
I can see storing acrylic (I know BAD word ;) ) stamps in plastic storage cases. As a scrapper, I have mostly 12 x 12 paper, but I do have some specialty papers in 8.5 x 5 that would fit nicely, too!

Awsome Liz! and soo generous of you to share!
I would , like Tanya, most likely use it to hold thickers or my patterned paper scraps!

wow what a great paper organizer!

I would use it for my cardstock. I don't have as big a pile of that size so I would have to stick my bigger sets of stickers that don't fit elsewhere as good. Easier to check it out if they are all together.

I would love to have this for my growing stamp collection!!! Paula

Since I have , on more than one occasion, been accused of being excessively organized, this would be an awesome way to store a multitude of sins to be very accessible.

Hi Liz,

That looks like a great organizer!! I do love those! This is exciting. I've never blogged before ( a blog virgin if you know what I mean!!)

I love paper organizers! Of course the initial thought would be to use it to sort cardstock by color but I would actually want to use it to organize scrap pieces by color instead. I have so many loose colors I use that I often break out a new piece of cardstock only to realize I have several pieces of it already pre-cut. I also might store a few of my favorite craft magazines for sketch ideas. :)

Liz, what a generous offer (both from the supplier, and from you too!) If I *happen* to win (and it is very unlikely, lol) I would store cardstock/paper on some of those many shelves, magazines on some others and my stamps as well. If all else fails, I could even store YARN (shock, horror!) Very cool yarn cubbies, lol.
BTW I enjoy your blog so keep up the good work, 'k?

This would be great to keep all of my cardstock, my stickers and all those little pieces of paper (scraps) that I always put to the side for the next project. I have also collected a few magazines now and it would be wonderful to keep them all together at my fingertips for those days whan I need a little inspiration :) I'm more creative when I'm organized and this would be a great little help.
Love all your awesome ideas Liz

Liz, this would be great for me to actually organise my stuff, and I can put all my new stamps in it!! I'm sure Doug would appreciate having his desk back!

Liz, I hope I'm allowed to enter too.

I'd really really like to have my desk back, so I'd put all of Steph's scrapbooking stuff in the shelves and organise it nicely for her, instead of the pile it's in now!
