Sketch #51

I have a card sketch this week, but it could easily be a layout too... definitely a simple layout, but I like those. ;)

Here's my card...
This is the second card we did last week at my monthly Stampin' Technique class. I was featuring the Stampin' Pastels, and I used the chalkboard technique (stamped on black cardstock with Whisper White Craft Ink, then used the Sponge Daubers and Stampin' Pastels to add colour to the script stamp). I also used Blender Pens and Stampin' Pastels to colour the flower image... I have better luck with this on smaller images, so this flower was perfect!
supplies (all SU!): cardstock (Basic Black, Whisper White, Kraft); Delicate Dots (SAB) DSP--on the inside of the card; stamps (Dear Friend, Rustic Rooster); inks (Whisper White Craft, Chocolate Chip, black Stazon); Stampin' Pastels

Link me up if you make a card!

It really does remind me of a blackboard. Great card.

I just LOVE that background stamp you used for that block on the card. The whole thing is just beautiful!
