March Technique Class - Collage Grid

Fast & Fun Friday - Clearly for You

On Fast & Fun Fridays, I share something quick & easy to make.

This is a 3x3 card I CASE'd from the Occasions Mini Catalogue (pg 29) for my Team Shoebox Swap this week. I did change the colours a bit, and I inked edges instead of adding another layer of cardstock. The stamps on this card are all from the Clearly for You stamp set, and the Dotted Scallop Ribbon punch is the perfect detail for this card. A button from the Neutrals pack with some embroidery thread is just the right finishing touch.

Today I'm sharing a card that does use some products from the Occasions Mini (Create a Cupcake stamp set and Build a Cupcake punch), and also some Sale-a-Bration Products  which you can get for free with a $60.00 purchase until March 31st (Punch Bunch stamp & Ice Cream Parlor DSP). I thought this card was appropriate for today, since I enjoyed a yummy birthday cupcake to celebrate today! We made this card at my lunch hour card class @ UWO today.

Sketchy Sunday #105

I have a card sketch this week, and it's a good one to use up some scraps of patterned paper, but you can also stamp images to create the row of 'blocks' on the sketch.

Here is my card... I actually made this a one layer card by masking the two pink flowers and stamping the purple flower on top. I used my Blender Pen to colour in some of the flower areas. The outline was added with a Stampin' Write marker and a ruler (after I stamped my sentiment).
