Soho Hardware & Father's Day Card Class

This class features the Soho Designer Hardware (item #114350):

Each person taking the class will receive a full package of the hardware to create their projects with! We'll make this card (I've made it as a Father's Day Card, but I will also have other sentiments available), and a boxed set of cards (4 cards & one box to hold them) using the Urban Oasis Designer paper, Fifth Avenue Floral Stamp Set and the Soho Designer Hardware.

Here are the class details if you're in the London, Ontario area:

I have a one page, 8.5x11 sketch this week, but I think it's easily adapted to 12x12.


And here's my layout... I did some embossing (with Iridescent Ice EP) over the patterned paper, and I also embossed (and then cut out) the letters for the title. That's the new Jumble Alphabet (from the upcoming 2009/2010 catalogue, but available in May for 20% off!). I'm also really happy with the faux stitched border (pierced holes, then drew along it with a black pen).

Reinker Techniques mini-class!

My monthly technique class is this week (Friday the 15th @ 7:00pm & Sunday the 17th @ 7:00pm). I'm featuring techniques with reinkers this month... they're not just for refilling your ink pads! You'll get a technique card with instructions for the following techniques: Polished Stone, Reinker Spread and Custom Ink Pad Stamping. We'll make samples for you to attach to the back of the instruction sheet. Then we'll make two projects using the techniques! This is one of the projects this month... a card that features the Reinker Spread and the Custom Inkpad. We'll also be making a matchbox with the Big Shot.


This class is $5.00 (or free with a $25.00 purchase) but it's *free* if you're part of my Stamper's Club, and also *free* the first time you come... please RSVP by Thursday night (the 14th) if you'd like to come Friday and by Friday (the 15th) if you'd like to come Sunday.
