One week left for Sale-a-Bration!
If you would like any of these stamps (four to choose from), paper pack or ribbon bundle for FREE you have one week left before they're gone forever! If you're Canadian, you can go to my website, click Shop Now and order $60 worth of Stampin' Up! products. They you'll get to choose your free Sale-a-Bration product!!! Your stamping or scrapbooking goodies will be shipped right to your door! Sale-a-Bration ends March 31st, so if you want freebies, get your order in before then.
Here are some cards I've made using the Sale-a-Bration freebies... this one (a CASE of a card in the SAB mini) uses Polka Dot punches and Delicate Dots paper. I used the Poppin' Pastels technique to create the soft background and coloured the stamped images with Stampin' Pastels and cotton swabs. The sentiment is from Fresh Cuts stamp set. This set is fun because all of the images co-ordinate with a punch (I used the 1 1/4" circle punch, 5 petal flower punch and the Scallop Circle punch)
This one is a CASE of Maryalsostamps' card and uses FOUR Sale-a-Bration Freebies! Delicate Dots paper, Botanical Blooms stamp set, Congrats stamp set and the Certainly Celery poly-twill ribbon from the Ribbon bundle. I also used my Big Shot Tope Note die and the Poppin' Pastels technique again. This was one of the cards we did Sunday night for my Technique Club. I showcased four techniques using the Stampin' Pastels...

Regional Swap cards
supplies (all SU!): cardstock (kraft, kiwi kiss, textured basic grey, textured baha breeze); ink (baja breeze, basic grey, kiwi kiss); stamps (Friends 24-7); oval punches (large oval, scalloped oval, eyelet border).
supplies (all SU!): cardstock (Pacific Point, Rose Red, Kraft, Whisper White, textured Chocolate Chip); Stamps (Fifth Avenue Floral, Upsy Daisy); inks (Elegant Eggplant, Rose Red, Chocolate Chip); Tools (Mat Pack, Aqua Painter, Scallop Square Punch, Big Shot tag die, Dazzling Diamonds glitter)
This is the one I had to "fix" a few of and came up with the card for my sketch challenge... I didn't get the owl stamped right, and had to cover it up (after stamping more stems in other colours).
Supplies (all SU!): Cardstock (Pirouette Pink, Whisper White); ink (chocolate Chip); Stampin' Write Markers (Ruby Red, Pink Passion, Close to Cocoa, More Mustard); Tools (Top Note Big Shot die, Scallop Oval punch - Occasions mini); Stamps (Very Versatile - Occasions Mini), Owl Together Now.
I'll be posting the projects we did at Regionals over the next few days! It was a lot of fun, and I won a stamp set (Matchbox Messages from the Occasions Mini)! I was at the back helping someone with the Big Shot, and didn't even see my name at first...

Sketch #49
and here is my card (adapted from the layout sketch):
This card evolved from a botched stamping job (I'll show you what I messed up next week). So I covered it up with the Very Vanilla panel and mounted it all on a Pacific Point card base.
supplies (all SU!): Cardstock (Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette, Pacific Point); Bold Brights Stampin' Write Markers; Very Versatile stamp set (coming in April--Occasions Mini); Curly Label Punch; Top Note Big Shot die

Sketch #48
I did a layout and a card with this sketch. The card was inspired by Kristina Werner's Colour Inspiration #44 (Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White and Close to Cocoa) and is a card for a swap with Anne (sorry it's not sent yet!). I used the Big Shot to make the scalloped oval frame and the butterfly, and then used the Texturz Plate to add the embossed dots to the butterfly. I gently rubbed the inkpad over the embossing to highlight it. I used the Central Park stamp set for the clear embossed flower and the tone on tone background stamping.
I used the March MSS kit for my layout, and added some Prima flowers, some butterflies (fabric and felt) cut with my Big Shot, assorted brads and buttons and some stamped butterflies. This layout was also for Leigh's 'Pile it On' challenge at the MSS crop this weekend. Anyone who is familiar with my usual pages will know what a stretch all these embellishments are!
