Am I the only one...

who "pronounces" the gibberish authorization words when you're posting on other blogs? I've been trying to be better about posting on the blogs I normally just "read and run" on, and I've caught myself thinking the authorization "word" as I'm typing it... the funny thing is that sometimes they are real words!

anyway, I thought I'd post a couple more of my Card Buffet cards tonight.
The left card is pretty basic... I inked the Fresh Cuts stamp with three different Stampin' Spots (Old Olive, Garden Green, Not Quite Navy) and stamped directly on a Whisper White notecard. here's the complete recipe (all SU!): Fresh Cut stamps, Inks (Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, Garden Green) , Whisper White notecard, Large Oval punch, Old Olive Flower Fusion, Silver mini-brad; Old Olive cardstock.
The card on the right isn't too tricky either (other than getting that knot to stay in place... I ended up stapling it on). recipe (all SU!): Whisper White Notecard; Real Red DSP (hostess level 1); Kraft cardstock; Real Red striped grosgrain ribbon; punches (5 petal flower, Boho Blossoms, Spiral); Owl Together Now stamps; Chocolate Chip Classic inkpad; Earth Elements Stampin' Write Markers

I too am guilty of the "read and run"!! Loving your projects Liz and it great that you do those color challenges. I'm always so scared. Thanks for the sketches again, love using them!!
Congrats on your 100th post, keep it up.

I have to admit I also try to find words in the gibberish. In fact on one of your post the "gibberish" was cessert which made me think of DESSERT! LOL Great cards.

I'm going to have to break out my Fresh Cuts set again. Beautiful card! (And the owl card was cute, too). Seems lately that the verification words actually make more sense than they used to!

My last word was "cledo" and this one is "pyrim". I wonder if they have some crazy meaning... like it's code for something.:)

Great cards by the way. Love the colors you used.

Gosh, I am so happy when do have a real word in there because I have half a chance of not getting the "you dummy...try this word instead!".

Your cards are adorable! I especially love what you did with the Thinking of You stamp! Love the gradient in color!!

No I do it too, I like it when you can actually get a word form them.

I have to say that I also try to pronounce the verification words and I have noticed that some of them are real words or contain real words in them LOL. Love the cards, btw!

Great cards Liz! Beautiful colors and unique designs! The staple is a great addition and it works out well that it was functional too:) That's so funny that you mentioned reading the authorization words. I've been doing that too. Actually it seems like all of a sudden they're more readable- before they were much more jibberish! funny

LOL! No you are not the only one who tries to "pronounce" the word verification! Still laughing...thought I was the only one!:)

I lke both of these cards! I like the look of the staple holding the knot. The Fresh Cuts is probably my fav of the two.

I so try and make them into words too! Try glue dots for your ribbon on the second card :)
