Each month in my Stamper's Club, I feature a different technique and we make a technique sample card (I type out instructions for the technique, and we make small samples on the back showing the technique). September's technique was watercolouring and faux watercolouring. We also make two cards/projects featuring the technique. The first card was faux watercolouring (we coloured on the stamp with Stampin' Write markers and spritzed with water before stamping):
card recipe (all SU!): Upsy Daisy stamp set, 1 3/8" circle punch, cardstock (Kiwi Kiss & Chocolate Chip), Whisper White Notecard, Stampin' Write Markers (Elegant Eggplant, Taken with Teal, Mellow Moss) and Chocolate Chip Classic Ink.
For the second card, we stamped the image on watercolour paper with Stazon ink and used the Stampin' Write markers to add a bit of colour to the edges of the image. Then we used Aqua Painters to blend the colours together. The sky and grass were done with ink pressed into the lids of the stamp pads and an Aqua Painter.
card recipe (all SU!): Stamps (Bella Toile background, Serene Spring); Cardstock (Baja Breeze, Cameo Coral, Chocolate Chip); Scallop Border punch, Watercolour paper, Earth Elements Stampin' Write Markers, Aqua Painter, inks (Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip).

On another note, I can't believe this is my 100th post! I'm surprised I've kept it up this long... but I'm happy I did!
