I was inspired by Ali Edwards months ago to alter a canvas, and finally did it! It was so much easier than I built it up to be in my head, and it was so fun to just play with the paint and paper, and work with whatever happened... Here's my end result:

I also did a sketch for the crop, so I'm sure it will show up here in the near future! ;)

I thought I'd let you know that you inspired me. I bought three canvases before Xmas with the intention of doing something like Ali did at the beginning of each chapter of her book (but bigger) using song lyrics that I love. Well, I got out my paint and a HS mask and got it painted today. Tomorrow I'll add the lyrics.
