Debossed Wildflower Butterfly

I saw a card like this on Pinterest created by Vicky Hayes and had to create one for myself (it uses Bermuda Bay & White again...). We made this in my August Simple Cards Class.

I embossed a piece of Whisper White card stock with the Wildflower Meadow embossing folder, then flipped it over so I could use the debossed side. I stamped my sentiment on a strip of Whisper White card stock and then used the Simply Scored tool to create an embossed line on each side of the sentiment. A butterfly from Papillion Potpourri stamped and punched with the Bitty Butterfly punch finish the card off.

Butterfly Window Card

I have so many cards (and a few scrapbook pages) to share... I've been making them and holding classes, but I just can't seem to get them uploaded and posted here. Here's hoping I can do a better job keeping up from now on.

This card was from my Big Shot Class (June's maybe???). I love this colour combo right now... expect to see Bermuda Bay quite a bit if I do get more projects posted. I don't remember liking or using Bermuda Bay as much when it was an In Colour a few years ago, but I can't get enough of it combined with White and/or Black. This card also uses a butterfly from the new Backyard Basics stamp set (with co-ordinating Framelits to cut it out) and a piece of Modern Medley patterned paper. I cut the window in the card with the Apothecary Accents Framelit and put the paper behind (on Dimensionals). A couple butteflies from Papillion Potpourri (punched with the Bitty Butterfly punch) and a sentiment finish this card off!

Holiday Catalogue Starts today!

The Stampin Up! starts today, and there are a lot of great products to help celebrate the upcoming holidays (Thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas and even Valentines Day)

If you have not seen it yet, you can view online by clicking HERE

We made this card at my Holiday Sneak Peek on Monday... as soon as I saw this stamp set (Joyful Christmas), I thought it would be perfect for the Stained Glass technique... so that is what I did! I embossed the Poinsettia and leaves with Gold Stampin Emboss powder on the Vellum Card stock, then coloured on the back of the vellum with Stampin Write Markers (Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green & Crushed Curry). I always love the embossing folders for the Big Shot, so I had to use the new Stylish Stripes embossing folder on the Cherry Cobbler card stock after cutting the Window Frame window for the image to show through.

Thanks for looking!
