***Don't forget that today is the last day to order from the Summer Mini! Quite a few of my favourite items have carried over into the current Idea Book & Catalogue, but others will be gone tonight at midnight. You can check out all the Summer Mini items by clicking here, and if you'd like to order, just log in and type in my name (Liz Goldhawk) - if you don't have a demonstrator yet - as the Demonstrator to get the best prices.
For today's Two for One Tuesday, I'm showing you two cards I created with one stamp set from the Summer Mini - Bouquet Bunches. It's got fun images that are quick and easy to colour in. Let me know which one you like better!
This card has a much different look from the first one. I've had these pieces coloured and punched out for a couple months now, but never found a card layout I was happy with. I was inspired today by a grouping of photos I saw online (all different frames, but grouped together on a wall to make one display) and thought I'd try it out on this card. Two of the images are stamped on Vellum Cardstock and coloured with markers on the back. The third image is stamped on Whisper White and coloured with Watercolour Pencils which I blended with a Blender Pen. I added a sentiment to the Scallop Rectangle Clearlit with Fabulous Phrases. The Square Lattice Die (yes, I'm glad it's staying too) added some texture and grounded the different shapes.

I created this card for a Canadian Demonstrator swap on Stampin' Connection. The theme was new catalogue stuff, so this card features quite a few of my favourite things from the new catalogue. I used the Just Believe stamp set (I embossed the image with Iridescent Ice Stampin' Emboss powder, which looks better IRL), the Dotted Scallop Ribbon punch, the Vintage Wallpaper Textured Impressions Folder, Basic Pearls and new colours (Early Expresso, Daffodil Delight and Cherry Cobbler). I got the colour combination from the new Colour Coach... another of my favourite products from the new catalogue.
I hope you like this sketch... if you create something using it, I'd love to see it! Link me up in the comments...
My stepped up card uses the same products as the first card, plus a torn fabric knot (Candy Cane Christmas fabric), red Glimmer Brads from the Glimmer Brights pack and a silver brad on the sentiment label (also popped up with Dimensionals). I watercoloured the image with my Aqua Painter and Stampin' Write markers. I also used the Smooch Illuminate Top Coat to create 'snow' under the beaver, and I used Two Way Glue around the edge of the circle to add some Dazzling Diamonds.

Today, I'm trying a new technique (and challenging you to try too) that I saw on Stampin' Addicts, and I'm trying a challenge from Splitcoast Stampers and combining them in one card. The technique challenge from Stampin' Addicts is to stamp with your clear block. Just ink it up like you would ink a stamp, and press it onto your cardstock... easy peasy and I love the effect (it really grounds the rest of my stamping)! The Clean & Simple challenge from Splitcoast is to use the colours Crumb Cake, Turquoise and White on a card. Here is the result:
Stamps: Just Believe, Silhouette Sentiments
Inks: Crumb Cake, Tempting Turquoise
Cardstock: Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, Crumb Cake
Other: Stampin' Up Clear C block, Basic Pearls, Dotted Scallop Ribbon punch

Today, my pre-order goodies from the soon to be released Holiday Mini are inspiring me, so I thought I'd share a peek. This card shows two stamp sets (Paisley Prints & Seasonal Sentiments), the new Spider Web Textured Impressions folder, and two new punches (2 1/2" Circle punch and Decorative Label punch).
If you'd like to make this card, you're invited to my Gold Stars, Ink. meeting and Sneak Peek night this Sunday the 29th @ 7:00pm. We'll also be making a Christmas card using Holiday Mini products and I'll be showing the Re-Inker Spread technique again.
Stamps: Paisley Prints, Seasonal Sentiments
Inks: Whisper White Craft, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, Rich Razzleberry, Pear Pizazz
Cardstock: Naturals White, Basic Black, Rich Razzleberry (textured)
Punches: Decorative Label, 2 1/2" Circle, Curly Label
Other: Spider Web Textured Impressions folder, Pear Pizazz poly-twill ribbon, Blender pen

I loved the little row of apples in this set, and used the bigger apple from Tart & Tangy to create my background. I found the colour combination (Pear Pizazz, More Mustard and Cajun Craze) in the Colour Coach, and thought it was perfect for a fall card. I added the 'happy' from Fabulous Phrases to the 'first day of school' sentiment that comes in the First Day stamp set. I love that the Dotted Scallop Ribbon border can be used in more than one way... it's the perfect accent peeking out from behind the stamped panel.
Stamps: First Day, Tart & Tangy, Fabulous Phrases
Inls: Pear Pizazz, Cajun Craze
Cardstock: Pear Pizazz, More Mustard, Very Vanilla, Cajun Craze
Other: Scallop Ribbon Border punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, 1 3/8" Circle punch, Scallop Circle punch, Stampin' Dimensionals

And here's my card:
I used different papers from the Woodland Walk DSP pack and the Growing Green stamp set which co-ordinates with the papers. I stamped the leaf image on Very Vanilla with Jet Black StazOn ink, then coloured it using my Blender Pen and Certainly Celery & Wild Wasabi inks. The flower was stamped on Watercolour Paper, then coloured using my Aqua Painter & Perfect Plum marker. The sentiment is from Fabulous Phrases... I love the font, and I'm having fun coming up with different sentiments using all the words.
I'd love to see any cards you create inspired by the sketch... leave me a link in the comments and I'll come visit you!
Stamps: Growing Green, Fabulous Phrases
Inks: Jet Black StazOn, Wild Wasabi, Certainly Celery
Cardstock: Pear Pizazz, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Watercolour paper
Other: Aqua Painter, Blender Pen, Corner Rounder Punch, Woodland Walk DSP, Stamp-a-ma-Jig, Stampin' Dimensionals

Here's the first card:
I used the same supplies that I used for the first card and added a Silver Mini Brad, Daffodil Delight ink to add the star to the top of the tree and the Scallop Border punch for the Chocolate Chip layer. I also used Sticky Strip to attach the ribbon to the bottom of the focal panel. I folded the ribbon onto itself as I stuck it to the Sticky Strip to create the ruffles, and added the silver brad as an accent. The whole focal panel is up on Stampin' Dimensionals as well. I also created a two-toned sentiment with Crumb Cake and Early Expresso markers.
Which version do you prefer?

This is the second card we made in last weekend's Technique Class. I featured the Burnishing Technique, which we used to colour in the images from Growing Green. We ran the coloured piece through the Big Shot in the Square Lattice Textured Impressions folder and then attached it to the rest of the card. My card was inspired by this card by Tina. I love this colour combination from the new Colour Coach too!
Stamps: Growing Green, Just Believe
Inks: So Saffron, Perfect Plum, Wild Wasabi
Cardstock: So Saffron, Perfect Plum, Wild Wasabi, Naturals White
Punches: Word Window, Modern Label, Dotted Scallop Ribbon border

This card was inspired by a sketch created by Carole'Anne as a challenge to other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators on the Stampin' Connection website (a gallery and message board for demonstrators). All a Flutter is a single stamp from the Summer Mini, and it's only available until the end of August.
I stamped the butterfly on Shimmery White cardstock with VersaMark ink, and heat embossed with Black Stampin' Emboss powder. I added the Melon Mambo ink with my Aqua Painter and hand cut the image so I could pop it out as an accent.
Stamps: All a Flutter, Full of Life
Inks: Melon Mambo, VersaMark, Peach Pizazz
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, Shimmery White
Other: Sweet & Sour DSP, Black Stampin' Emboss Powder, Stampin' Dimensionals, Paper Snips

I love this bright colour combination (inspired by the Colour Coach again) and the bright, cheery message in the sentiment as well. I used two Hostess stamp sets for this card (Punch Potpourri for the background and Apple Blossoms for the main image and sentiment). If you would like to host a party or private class and earn either of these sets for free, please contact me! The design of this card was based on a sketch by Alex Hobson for a Stampin' Connection challenge (private message board for demonstrators).
Stamps: Apple Blossoms, Punch Potpourri
Inks: Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry
Cardstock: Whisper White, Tempting Turquoise, Rich Razzleberry (textured)

This is a card I made for a private class last weekend. It was the first card we made, so I wanted to keep it fairly simple, but there are a few details that I think make it special.
I used the Presto Patterns DSP and rubbed So Saffron & Poppy Parade inks on with a Stampin'Sponge. The Early Expresso Taffeta Ribbon creates a soft band beside the Scallop Trim Edge. The Basic Rhinestone adds a little bling to the top of the cage. I used the Stamp-a-ma-Jig to get accurate placement of my birds and the cage. I love the sentiments in Curly Cute. There's a nice variety and they look so pretty! I found this colour combination on my Colour Coach. This is a fabulous tool and I love it already... I never would have tried these colours together, and I really like how this card turned out. I'm giving them away as a gift to anyone who joins my team by September 30th. You can see the colour combination on the Colour Coach below:
Thanks for visiting my blog today!
Stamps: Aviary, Curly Cute
Inks: Poppy Parade, Baja Breeze, So Saffron
Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Whisper White
Other: Presto Patterns DSP, Scallop Trim Border punch, Early Expresso Taffeta Ribbon, Basic Rhinestones, Stamp-a-ma-Jig, Stampin' Dimensionals

All of the punches are now in this new style, which lock shut for easier storage. They can also punch larger pieces, and punch/emboss at the same time. You can punch them with the heel of your hand while they are sitting on the table, instead of your fingers/thumbs too. This video is full of great information. I hope you find it helpful!

I didn't follow the sketch exactly because I wanted to use this line up of teacups I stamped a couple weeks ago... it's been sitting lonely on my desk, and I thought it would be perfect! Here's my card:
